This first video in the “A Beautiful Break” series is a music video for Coquelicot featuring Laura Cahen and Yael Naim. Laura Cahen is a singer-songwriter from Nancy in France, whose musical awakening began as part of a family of music lovers. She learned to play the piano and the guitar when she was a child and subsequently began writing her own songs as a teenager. In her music, she blends modernity and tradition, using Pop, Trip Hop, and Chanson elements, while creating songs influenced by a ‘positive’ melancholy, making people feel alive.

Yael Naim is a French-born Israeli singer and actress. She began her singing career with a part in the musical Les Dix Commandementsand her first solo album, In a Man’s Womb (recorded in Los Angeles with Kamil Rustam), was released in 2001. In January 2008, Apple featured her song “New Soul” in its debut commercial for the MacBook Air laptop.
