Courteney originally wore it to the 1998 premiere of “Snake Eyes”, and there’s no denying this dress remains on-trend today. “I’m not one to hold onto things, but this was a damn good purchase! 21 years later…” Courteney shared on her Instagram.

What better way to celebrate your 21st birthday than in a chic party dress from your iconic mother’s closet? Carys Zeta Douglas celebrated this milestone birthday in a pink satin slip dress with lace details and floral embroidery worn by her mom Catherine Zeta-Jones at the 1999 MTV Movie Awards.

Grier Henchy chose a beige lace square-neck gown from Brooke Shields’ closet to honor her mom at the debut of her cabaret act. This stunning dress first made its appearance at the Marshall Field’s Fash Bash in August 2001.
