Monochrome Neutrals: Designers like The Row and Jil Sander focused on a palette of soft, understated hues such as ivory, beige, taupe, and muted greys. These colors create a serene and sophisticated look, allowing for effortless mix-and-match styling.
Clean Lines and Tailoring: Sharp, tailored pieces were a highlight at the Prada and Victoria Beckham shows. Blazers, wide-leg trousers, and structured skirts were designed with precision, offering a sleek and polished appearance without unnecessary embellishments. Cinched blazers made a cameo this season and will continue to become more prominent.
Sleek Silhouettes: Minimalist fashion this season is all about streamlined shapes and figure-flattering cuts. Bottega Veneta and Max Mara showcased fitted sheath dresses and minimalist jumpsuits, focusing on creating elegant lines that enhance the natural form.
Subtle Textures: While patterns and prints took a backseat in some shows, designers like Hermès and Celine incorporated textures like fine ribbing, smooth satin, and soft knits. These textures provide visual interest while maintaining a clean and uncluttered look.
Essential Layering: Lightweight layering pieces such as longline vests, duster coats, and minimalistic cardigans were prominent in shows by COS and Totême. These layers add dimension to outfits while adhering to a minimalist aesthetic.
Understated Accessories: Accessories were kept simple and functional at the Loewe and Phoebe Philo shows. Think sleek leather belts, minimalist gold jewelry, and classic leather handbags, which complement the outfits without overpowering them.
Functional Footwear: Footwear on the runways included clean, minimalist designs seen at the Saint Laurent and A.P.C. shows. Slip-on loafers, sleek ankle boots, and simple strappy sandals were versatile and timeless, perfect for completing a minimalist ensemble.

This outfit is “French-girl” chic, perfect for casual Fridays at the office or any weekend outing. When putting this outfit together, I focused on timeless accessories from some of my favorite brands that can easily be dressed up or dressed down. The standout piece for me is the By Malene Birger belt which features the logo clasp (if you know you know) and is made with premium quality without the hefty price tag.

A cream monochromatic outfit is one of the easiest ways to look elegant. To make a monochromatic outfit work, pair different textures like silk, cashmere, and leather which will add interest and depth to your look. Pair it with slingback kitten heels for a more polished look or pair it with on-trend sneakers for a more casual vibe. This outfit is essentially a capsule wardrobe starter pack. Since the separates are all neutral tones, you can easily create new outfits with each piece.

A matching vest and trousers is a great outfit when you want to look effortlessly pulled together. Here, I paired the look with brown leather accessories and gold but you could easily go with black or opt for a pop of color. You’ll get a lot of mileage out of this outfit since the vest can easily be paired with a maxi skirt, jeans, or shorts in summer while the trousers are perfect for pairing with blouses, blazers, or even a tee and sneakers.

With pastel blue trending for spring, it’s very prominent in many collections. This pastel blue blazer from St Agni is one of my favorite pieces this season for its unique color and chic silhouette. Silver is also growing in popularity, and I’m personally getting a bit of gold fatigue, so I chose to bring silver into the look with jewelry and accessory accents.

Chocolate brown monochrome outfits are considered a fall staple in “it” girl wardrobes but the color is often (and regrettably) overlooked for spring and summer. If you don’t have brown satin, silk, or linen trousers in your spring wardrobe, you are missing out. I love pairing brown trousers with a matching brown top, cream blouse, white tee, or leopard print for an on-trend look. In this outfit, you’ll see a mix of textures with the top, pants, and handbag. The handbag is the star of the show here bringing in an almost beachy element.

This outfit will make you look like you are one breath away from asking your assistant to fetch you a latte, and with classic black and white always being in season, I think Miranda Priestly would never purse her lips at this look. There are a million ways you can put together a black-and-white look like this, but remember your accessories will often become the focal point of your outfit so make it count. If you have any beautiful heirloom pieces, pull them into your look – think diamond studs or grandma’s watch.

A tee and trousers are always an effortlessly pulled-together weekend look. This outfit lets the accessories do the talking with statement shoes and an elegant necklace. I always love to sprinkle a little Bridget Bardot into my looks which you can see with the simple yet chic jersey headband.

This outfit is essentially the minimalist’s uniform with the peplum vest, chic flats, and sculptural handbag that adds to the look without interfering. I own these flats, and to say I’m obsessed would be an understatement. Not only are these flats handcrafted in Italy, but they are giving The Row at a fraction of the price tag and they are super comfortable.

I think the timelessness of this outfit speaks for itself. For spring, we are seeing more cinched blazers steal the limelight and I like the silhouette of this blazer both opened and closed. The iconic T-Lock Toteme bag pulls this look together and I couldn’t resist a little western flair with the shoes.

Denim maxi skirts continue to trend this year, and lucky for us, they are such a versatile spring staple. Pair your denim maxi skirt with a gilet and loafers for an on-trend look like seen here, or simply pair it with a white tee and slides for a more dressed-down ensemble.
